Blog "Hottalotta" ini sungguh salah satu fenomena anomali di dunia blog. Ia seperti iklan televisi yang ditayangkan berulang-ulang. Mengganggu memang tapi efektif karena berhasil tertancap masuk ke dalam benak prospek.
Demikian pula, blog ini (like it or not) telah mencapai brand awareness tertinggi di kalangan blogger secara umum. Hottalotta tumbuh dgn cara yg sederhana dan murah tapi cukup efektif, yaitu: buzzing power, seperti analogi bola salju yang menggelinding bebas.
Bila kondisi ini tetap bertahan, bukan tidak mungkin, saya berspekulasi kelak bakal ada pemasang iklan komersial di blog "Hottalotta", namun saya memprediksi pemasang iklan hanya sebatas produk-produk low involvement. Sometimes, being ugly could be popular unfairly, huh?
Hanya saja threat disini adalah, brand "Hottalotta" nyaris tidak punya goodwill sebagai intangible asset. Itu bisa mengerogoti popularitas blog ini yang menggembung seperti bubblegum dan meletus secepat mengembangnya. Consider it properly.

tank top yg lo sebutkan sebelumnya itu merek luar negri, OBESITY & SPEED, memang udh punya nama dan cukup terkenal, jd wajar :) Untuk merek seperti sat cas, magic happens, mereka juga nggak mahal kok. Nikicio yg NN:02 juga.
@joe Ramona : oohh gt...thanx for the info :) tp klo buat gw brightspot agak mengecewakan, gw ngarepnya bisa bawa pulang barang apaa gtu..eh ternyata g bersahabat di kantong..hehehe
@UC Iyaaaaa soalnya setau gw, salah satu slogan mereka kurang lebih kalo market ini bukan soal harga tp keunikan masing2 :) Jadinya gituuu. Tp untuk Tribute, Orbis & 707 mereka memang banyak menyalurkan merek luar seperti dari Aussie+NYC+england dll jd pasti mahal hehe.
Brightspot yang pertama lebih seru loh sebenanrnya hehe yg edisi ini memang kurang hehe. Semoga aja yg berikutnya lebih seru...
